TYPES OF THREATS
1 Acoustic-is used without any electronic means, simlar to putting a water glass to a wall, using a stethoscope, rubber tubing or listening through a vent or window.
2 Ultrasonic- is a technique used to convert sound to an audio signal, above the range of human hearing, and intercepted near by and converted to audio, where audio pressure waves are used instead of audio waves.
3 Optical- is a device that converts sound or data into an optical pulse or beam of light. Usually active or passive laser device.
4 RF- (Radio Frequency) This is the most common type of bug employed, and can be placed almost anywhere. Commonly sold and planted in VCRs, Lamps, Table Clocks, Cell Phones, Picture Frames, Smoke Detectors, and many more.... limited only by the eavesdroppers imagination.
5 Hybrid- Can be a combination of any of the above.
